Garnish the Wages
Tuesday, February 05, 2008
Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton said Sunday she might be willing to garnish the wages of workers who refuse to buy health insurance to achieve coverage for all Americans.
The New York senator has criticized presidential rival Barack Obama for pushing a health plan that would not require universal coverage. Clinton has not always specified the enforcement measures she would embrace, but when pressed on ABC's "This Week," she said: "I think there are a number of mechanisms" that are possible, including "going after people's wages, automatic enrollment."
This, dear reader, is pure socialism. She is saying that she wants to take from those who have and give it to those who don't and she intends to use the government to force you to fork over your money.
This is NOT why we have government.
UPDATE: I like this post reply found here about this subject:
I dont think this specific topic is the issue with her. It is more her thought process and belief that it is the governments right/responsibility to take what it wants for what it sees as the individuals own good.About sums it up, no?

No, It really doesn't sum it up. Is America crazy? Look who we have running on all accounts. The last standing are McCain, Clinton, Obama, ALL Washington insiders. ALL OF THEM. Don't let Barack's charm fool you like it does the rest America. He has got the MLK vibe and energy going but not much to back it up with. HE IS AN INSIDER TOO! They all are. Americans SAY they want change but they don't vote for it. If they really wanted change they would have chosen one of the outside Washington candidates while they had the chance to. We are headed into either a McCain run America (please, the cold war is over) or a Barack or Hillary whitehouse full ove empty promises, more big business, deals with Mexico, blah blah blah...more of the same or worse - can you believe worse? You'd better, its coming. Anyway you look at it. Americans have gotten studpid.
I agree. It's going to be more of the same.
